Bookmark to Promote Academic Library Study

To encourage participation in the Academic Library Impact Study–which will launch on most participating campuses a week from next Monday–a promotional bookmark is being produced. The bookmark notes prominently that, on each participating campus, there will be two drawings for $25 Amazon certificates, one each for undergraduate faculty and student respondents. In addition, all responding undergraduate students are eligible for a drawing for an Apple iPod Shuffle, the latest product in the iPod ‘family.’ We are hopeful that these incentives will encourage maximum participation. The online survey’s security features will prevent multiple responses per respondent, and the winners will have to produce proof of their status as undergraduate students and faculty.
