2003 Data on U.S. Public Libraries Released by NCES

On June 10, the National Center for Education Statistics released the national public library database for 2003. The direct link to this file is http://nces.ed.gov/pubsearch/pubsinfo.asp?pubid=2005362.

The 2003 edition of the E.D. TAB report, Public Libraries in the U.S., is not yet available, but we are watching for it and will let you know when it is available, too.

LRS is part of the Colorado State Library, a unit of the Colorado Department of Education. We design and conduct library research for library and education professionals, public officials, and the media to inform practices and assessment needs. We partner with the Library and Information Science program at University of Denver's Morgridge College of Education to provide research fellowships to current MLIS students.
