This spreadsheet contains a list of all U.S. public libraries that are designated as rural libraries AND serve legal service area populations under 25,000 (sorted alphabetically by state and then library name). If your library is on this list, you are eligible to receive a scholarship.

Are you surprised that your library is not on the spreadsheet? Please check this list, which contains all U.S. public libraries, sorted alphabetically by state and then library name. Your library must have a rural locale code (41, 42, or 43) AND serve a legal service area (LSA) population under 25,000 in order to qualify for a scholarship.

Data source for locale codes and legal service area populations: The Institute of Museum and Library Services 2014 Public Libraries Survey (the most recent data available). You can view information about locale codes here.
