This spreadsheet contains a list of all U.S. public libraries that are designated as rural libraries. If your library is on this list, you are eligible to receive a travel stipend.

Are you surprised that your library is not on the spreadsheet? Please check this list, which contains all U.S. public libraries. Your library must have a “town” or “rural” locale code (31, 32, 33, 41, 42, or 43) order to qualify for a stipend.

Data source for locale codes: The Institute of Museum and Library Services 2017 Public Libraries Survey (the most recent data available). You can view information about how locale codes are determined here.
