Make the case for school libraries with our new impact studies infographic

Our new infographic presents highlights of all of LRS’s school library impact studies in an accessible and concise format. We hope this will be an effective tool for school library advocates!

Two versions of the infographic are available:

-One is optimized for online viewing

-And, the second is optimized for printing

A printing note: if you view the infographic PDF file in Firefox PDF viewer, it may not render properly. For best viewing and printing, click on the “open in different viewer” button in the top right corner of your browser, and select the option to open the file with Adobe Reader. The PDF file is optimized for printing on legal size paper.

We also maintain a bibliography of US school library impact studies for those who are interested in delving deeper into this topic.

I am a Colorado Info graphic fan. On this one, I really like the list of school library characteristics associated with higher test scores. Great list and I appreciate the reference to studies.

The one optimized for online viewing is blurry when I save it and then forward it in an email attachment. How do you propose we send this to colleagues and Board members online?

Sally,
I would recommend sending either the blog post link http://www.lrs.org/news/2013/02/27/make-the-case-for-school-libraries-with-our-new-impact-studies-infographic/, or the direct link to the infographic: http://www.lrs.org/documents/school/school_library_impact.jpg, as opposed to saving the file and sending it as an attachment. Thank you!
